The Microscope & Method
A Science-Based Foundation
Leslie Cey holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education with Great Distinction from the University of Lethbridge.
Experience in her roles as a teacher and a mother has helped her provide an approach rooted in observation, clarity, and thoughtful discussion tailored to each individual.
Live Blood Analysis is offered within this same spirit of nurturing and life long learning to move forward in a visual, educational wellness experience.
Professional Training
Leslie completed her Live Blood Analysis training in September 2023 through Quest4Health in British Columbia, Canada and has been practicing in Lloydminster ever since.
Her training emphasized careful observation using darkfield microscopy and maintaining clear boundaries around the educational nature of the service.
Live Blood Analysis is not a diagnostic medical procedure and does not replace care from a licensed healthcare provider.
The Microscope
Using an Optika B-510DK research microscope, paired with a digital camera and 4K display monitor clients will view the sample in real time.
This setup allows the microscopic image to be projected clearly onto a screen during the session, creating a shared viewing experience where observations can be discussed together.
Rather than relying on static images or descriptions, clients are able to see the sample directly as it appears under the microscope.
Darkfield Microscopy
Darkfield microscopy is a specialized lighting technique used to observe very small biological structures that may be difficult to see under standard brightfield microscopes.
Instead of illuminating the sample directly from below, darkfield microscopy uses angled light so that the background appears dark while structures in the sample reflect light and become visible.
This method can make movement, shape, and general structure within the sample easier to observe.
The Viewing Experience
During the session:
• A very small drop of blood is placed on a microscope slide
• The sample is viewed immediately using darkfield microscopy
• The image is displayed live on a 4K monitor
• Observations are discussed together in real time
This process allows clients to visually explore the sample and ask questions as the session unfolds.
The experience is educational and observational in nature.
An Observational Wellness Experience
This service focuses on visual awareness and conversation.
It is not intended to diagnose disease, identify specific medical conditions, or provide treatment.
Instead, it offers an opportunity to observe and reflect within a calm, educational setting.
